The place is incredibly cute and Stephanie was the perfect host. The location is a block from tons of great bars and restaurants. We had a great time. This is a sure bet for a weekend getaway. -Brian
We had a fantastic stay at Stephanie’s place. The room was lovely and the whole place is decorated beautifully. The location is super convenient, just a few steps from lots of restaurants and shops. The be droom is adjacent to a shared bathroom so can be a little noisy at times. However, for the price, the place is great value for such a well appointed room and house. -Nick
Stephanie was great! She was friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed. She was completely accommodating when I arrived a little later than expected. The house is a lovely Victorian right in downtown Saugerties, close to restaurants, shopping, etc. The room was large, clean, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, too, was large, clean, well-lit. I would definitely recommend this as a great option for a Saugerties stay. I would love to go back someday.-Kathryne
Stephanie is gracious and accommodating and really cares about making the stay optimal. I was not on a vacation, but working, and appreciated her attentiveness and efforts to provide a comfortable and easy stay. I didn’t have a car and it was great to be able to walk to restaurants and stores, and Stephanie makes it even easier with excellent recommendations. The house is beautiful, spotless and in a wonderful location. Stephanie is an outstanding host! -Holly
Stephanie’s place was great! Just a block away from everything you need and a short drive to a lot of the near attractions. Stephanie was very accommodating and gave us some great information. We took her up on quite a few of her recommendations. We had a wonderful stay! -Alyssa
Well, I just want to start by saying that I would move to Saugerties. It is the cutest little town with nice restaurants, bars, and shops. We ate downtown all three nights that we were there. The first night we went to The Pig restaurant and had their fish and chips and mac and Cheese. They were both delicious. The next night we went to Miss Lucys and had the ribs. The atmosphere of both places were so nice. The last night we went to the local diner. Every place had great food. The house was decorated so cute! You could tell Stephanie put a lot of thought into each and every room. Our room was perfect. There was room for parking in the driveway every night. It was easy to get in and out of the house. Next year we will definitely staying here again. -Chelsea
Stephanie was a gracious host with many fantastic suggestions. Her home is beautiful and very clean. I don’t think the pictures for the St. Tropez room do it justice - it’s spacious and elegant in-person. For someone who wanted a peaceful night away from NYC, I lucked out in finding Stephanie’s place. It’s in quaint and picturesque downtown Saugerties, but on a quiet street. Would love to go back some day! -Danielle
We had a great stay at Stephanie’s for 3 nights. We loved the room and the location was handy to shops and restaurants. Stephanie gave us some great ideas for places to eat and to explore. -Colleen
Really cute place in an even cuter town! We stayed here to go skiing at Hunter, and it was well located for that, about a half hour drive away. The town of Saugerties was really quaint and we had several good meals. The house is well decorated with antiques and has a nice, cozy feel. Definitely recommend for a weekend getaway in the Hudson Valley. -Jennifer

Stephanie responded quickly and was very helpful. The Athens room was clean, comfortable, and cute. We enjoyed the stay very much. A short walk to the lovely shops and restaurants in the town. -Ying

Having stayed just one night during a quick ski trip, my group and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The house was immaculate and right next to restaurants / bars. Stephanie was an absolute pleasure to communicate with; she was very informative, responsive, and incredibly kind.-Mia

This place is a few steps away from midtown Saugerties. It’s cute, clean and warm. My sister and I loved it here. Check in and check out was a breeze. Stephanie gave us suggestions and was responsive and concerned about us. Thanks again for having us!! -Sbonisile

As we discussed arrangements, I was immediately struck by the extent to which Stephanie was responsive, informative, and warm. She even anticipated my needs, giving me the number of a taxi service so that I could call ahead and have a car waiting for me at the bus stop. For those who prefer their hosts companionable, I can say that Stephanie was a bright and articulate, and we had a great conversation over coffee. For those who prefer their hosts to give them space, I can also say that not once did I feel that she was uncomfortably attentive or intrusive (and as I am a quite private person I am exceptionally sensitive to that). The room was clean, quirky, and very comfortable. I definitely took photos. I can’t imagine that there could possibly be a more convenient location, as the house is about a block from the village (a.k.a. downtown Saugerties). I chose this listing on the sole criterion that it was the least expensive for the dates I needed; I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that there was not one thing that left to be desired! Will repeat. -Jonathan

Stephanie has been a great host and made our trip very comfortable!!! The room is spacious, warm and cozy. When I told her we get cold easily, she even gave us a electric heating blanket which made our nights very comfortable and warm! Also, Stephanie’s house is right by the town (the town is super cute), which makes it convenient to walk around and explore. My sister and I fell in love with Saugerties thanks to Stephanie!!! -Grace

If like me, you are in love with the charm of old houses, boho decor, a gracious and relaxed hostess, with unerring tact and a dry wit, then Stephanie’s is for you. It’s hard for me not to be reduced to hyperbole when talking about my stay at The Bohemian AirB&B. I was there for three nights and wish I could have stayed for a week more. From the moment Stephanie opened the door, I felt welcome, hugged as if by magick, into her wonderful home. I stayed in the St. Tropez room, which is my room of choice, and the one I will return to. It’s a back corner room, quiet, with two windows, and it was the perfect size for me, with all the closet and bureau space I needed. When I am away from home, what I need to feel human is a firm bed, clean, crisp cotton sheets, great water pressure, thick towels, easy to reach bedside table lamps that I can read by, a variety of pillows, and a down quilt. I had all of this at Stephanie’s, meaning I was extraordinarily comfortable and slept like the dead. The location of the house is fabulous, within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of the inordinately charming village of Saugerties. Parking was also no problem. Besides Stephanie’s driveway, there’s a municipal lot across the street where you can leave your car all night for free. Next time I go, though I’m taking my bike so I can more throughly explore the neighborhoods and ride out to river. If you want something modern and slick Stephanie’s isn’t for you. I happen to loathe modern and slick. But if you love charm, character, eclectic décor, a house that is a home, sunlight pouring through windows, the smell of coffee, a great location, and a hostess who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable, then Stephanie’s is for you. Thanks Stephers. I’ll be back soon. -Katherine T.
